This plate carrier was developed based on direct feedback from operators of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (HUR) and National Guard (NGU), who clearly identified what most plate carriers lack: comfort, thoughtful design, modern ergonomics, and reliable performance without compromise.

We addressed every one of these requirements—and implemented them in the GHOST GEN5 Multicam Woodland.

How This Model Was Created

During development, we asked ourselves one key question:

"What should a plate carrier be like so that the operator doesn't have to adapt to the gear—but the gear adapts to the operator?"

The answer to that question became the foundation of the GHOST GEN5.

Operators directly pointed out the issue of overly wide shoulder straps. We redesigned them to achieve the ideal shoulder fit.

The plate carrier doesn't rub, shift, or restrict movement, ensuring a natural and comfortable fit.

2. Stable Rifle Stock Placement

We integrated modern Hypalon material to provide maximum rifle stock stability.

It prevents slipping, improves weapon control, and enables faster, more accurate shooting.

3. Premium Quality Without Compromise

We deliberately refused to compromise on materials:

• Cordura 1000D

• Squadron 500/1000

• Italian 2M SPIDER hardware

• TYTAN thread

• Velcro Alfatex

These are the same premium materials used in high-end tactical equipment, engineered for years of intensive use.

4. LaserCut Instead of Traditional MOLLE

We chose LaserCut because it is:

• stronger;

• lighter;

• cleaner in appearance;

• does not add unnecessary weight;

• does not deform under heavy loads.

The attachment system has become more modern and significantly more reliable.

5. Tegris-Based Cummerbund

Most cummerbunds are soft and unstable.

We chose the composite material Tegris, which:

• maintains its shape;

• supports heavy equipment;

• does not sag over time.

Elastic inserts make it adaptable to virtually any body type.

6. Optional Level 1 Soft Ballistic Protection

GHOST GEN5 Multicam Woodland supports the installation of Level 1 soft ballistic protection according to the Ukrainian DSTU standard, significantly increasing the protected area without compromising mobility or comfort.

The plate carrier is designed so users can configure the desired level of protection according to their mission requirements and operating conditions.

When needed, the system can be equipped with additional Level 1 soft ballistic inserts to protect the:

• neck;

• shoulders;

• sides;

• groin;

• lower back.

Thanks to its modular architecture, GHOST GEN5 easily adapts to different operational scenarios, allowing users to expand protection exactly where needed while maintaining ergonomics, weight balance, and freedom of movement.

If a shoulder pad, ventilation pad, or quick-release component eventually wears out, it can be replaced independently—without sending the carrier for repairs or modifications.
