This plate carrier was developed based on direct feedback from Special Operations Forces and National Guard personnel, who clearly identified what most plate carriers lack: comfort, well-thought-out solutions, modern ergonomics, and uncompromising reliability.

We took every one of these requirements into account and implemented them in the GHOST GEN5 Multicam Woodland.

How This Model Was Created

During development, we asked ourselves one key question:

"What should a plate carrier be like so that the operator doesn't have to adapt to the equipment—but the equipment adapts to the operator?"

The answer to that question became the foundation of the GHOST GEN5.

1. Optimized Shoulder Straps

Operators pointed directly to the problem of overly wide shoulder straps. We redesigned them to achieve the ideal fit on the shoulders.

The plate carrier does not cause chafing, does not shift during movement, does not restrict mobility, and provides a natural fit.

2. Stable Rifle Stock Support

We integrated modern Hypalon material to provide maximum stability for rifle stock placement.

It prevents slipping, improves weapon control, and allows for faster and more precise operation.

3. Premium Quality Without Compromise

We deliberately refused to compromise on materials:

• Cordura 1000D

• Squadron 500/1000

• Italian 2M SPIDER hardware

• TYTAN threads

• Alfatex Velcro

These are the same premium materials used in high-end tactical equipment, engineered for years of intensive use.

4. LaserCut Instead of Traditional MOLLE

We chose LaserCut because it is:

• stronger;

• lighter;

• cleaner in appearance;

• does not add unnecessary weight;

• does not deform under heavy loads.

The attachment system has become more modern, lighter, and more reliable.

5. Tegris-Based Cummerbund

Most cummerbunds are soft and unstable.

We use a composite Tegris material that:

• maintains its shape;

• supports heavy equipment;

• does not sag over time.

Elastic inserts allow it to adapt comfortably to different body types.

6. Additional Level II Soft Ballistic Protection

GHOST GEN5 Multicam Woodland supports the installation of Level II soft ballistic protection in accordance with DSTU standards, significantly increasing the protected area without noticeably affecting mobility or comfort.

The plate carrier is designed so users can configure the required level of protection depending on their mission and operating environment.

If required, the system can be equipped with additional Level II soft ballistic inserts for protection of:

• the neck;

• the shoulders;

• the sides;

• the groin area;

• the lower back.

Thanks to its modular architecture, the GHOST GEN5 easily adapts to different mission profiles, allowing users to increase protection exactly where it is needed while maintaining ergonomics, weight balance, and freedom of movement.
