The OTAMAN Gen4 V1 body armor is designed with an increased protection area for the entire body. The vest is lightweight — only 3.2 kg. The low weight is achieved thanks to the use of UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), which serves as the base material for the ballistic protection panels.

The protection level of the vest in its basic V1 configuration is Class 1 according to DSTU. This protection level shields you from fragments, ricochets, and pistol shots.

The basic configuration includes an enlarged plate carrier, abdominal and chest protection, back and side panels, and four hard pouches for magazines.

The vest can be additionally equipped with Class 6 plates sized 25×30 cm or 27×35 cm.

This body armor is suitable for both larger men and slimmer users.

• Size S/M — suitable for people up to 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference from 50 to 170 cm.

• Size L/XL — suitable for people taller than 175 cm, with a chest circumference from 60 to 180 cm.

However, if you need to carry armor plates, you can easily install them into this vest.

The plate carrier is made of CORDURA 1000D, a flame-resistant and extremely durable fabric resistant to abrasion (over 50,000 cycles), non-flammable, invisible to night vision devices, and moisture-resistant. The quick-release system is located on the sides and shoulders, allowing for rapid removal in emergencies and providing instant access for medics.

The increased protection area allows you to completely cover the front, side, and back parts of the body, unlike most other armor models.
