GHOST GEN5 WROOM Ballistic Neck Protection with a Class 2 ballistic package in accordance with DSTU 8782:2018 is the result of a completely new approach to developing one of the most important elements of personal protection. During development, our primary goal was to create a gorget that combines maximum protection coverage, secure attachment to the plate carrier, and a high level of comfort even during prolonged use.

The main feature of the model is its ergonomic design with a free collar. It provides natural freedom of head movement, does not restrict visibility, and does not cause discomfort while handling a weapon, running, or performing other active movements. Thanks to its carefully designed fit, the protection does not rub against the neck, while the attachment system securely holds it on the plate carrier, preventing displacement even during intensive use. That is why GHOST GEN5 has become one of the best and most technologically advanced products developed by WROOM.

The construction consists of front and rear sections that provide comprehensive neck protection. The front section is equipped with a quick-release system using 2M buckles, allowing the gorget to be detached within seconds without removing the entire setup. The rear section is attached with Velcro beneath the plate carrier's evacuation drag handle, without blocking it or interfering with its use during casualty evacuation.

The neck protection is specifically designed for Ghost GEN4 and Ghost GEN5 plate carriers, ensuring the most accurate fit and full integration with the equipment.

The product is made from original Cordura® 1000D with an NIR coating, which reduces the material's visibility under night vision devices. All hardware is manufactured by 2M, ensuring high strength and durability even in the most demanding operating conditions.

The interior features an elastic stretch lining that minimizes friction against the neck, improves comfort, and allows the protection to be worn for many hours without causing skin irritation.

Inside is a Class 2 ballistic package compliant with DSTU 8782:2018, providing a higher level of ballistic protection thanks to an increased number of layers of Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). This construction offers enhanced resistance to heavier and higher-velocity fragments while also providing protection against the 7.62×25 mm TT round specified under the requirements of Class 2 protection in accordance with DSTU 8782:2018. This makes the gorget an optimal solution for military personnel operating in environments with increased fragmentation and ballistic threats.
