The headlamp provides a maximum brightness of 625 lumens and a beam distance of up to 115 meters when using the included Petzl CORE 1250 mAh rechargeable battery. Two beam types allow the lighting to be adapted to different tasks: a wide, uniform beam provides comfortable illumination at close range, while the mixed beam is optimal for moving.

One of the key features of the ARIA 2R RGB is the combination of white light with red, green, and blue lighting. Red light helps preserve night vision and discretion, green light makes map reading easier and improves contrast, while blue light can be used for detecting tracks and improving visibility in water. Colored RGB light is available in continuous and flashing modes.

Easy operation even while wearing gloves

All main functions of the Petzl ARIA 2R RGB are controlled by one large button, providing quick access to three white-light brightness levels and colored modes. The button design allows convenient operation of the headlamp even while wearing gloves.

The headlamp housing can be tilted up or down, directing the light beam exactly where needed. The LOCK function prevents accidental activation during transportation or storage, while the battery level indicator shows the status of the rechargeable battery or batteries when the headlamp is switched on and off.

Petzl CORE and HYBRID CONCEPT technology

The Petzl ARIA 2R RGB comes with a removable Petzl CORE 1250 mAh rechargeable battery with a voltage of 3.6 V and an energy capacity of 4.5 Wh. Full charging time is approximately 3.5 hours.

Thanks to HYBRID CONCEPT technology, the headlamp can also operate on three standard AAA/LR03 batteries. The headlamp automatically detects the installed power source and adapts the lighting characteristics accordingly.

When using the included CORE rechargeable battery, maximum output is 625 lm, with a beam distance of up to 115 m. When switching to 3 × AAA/LR03 batteries, maximum output is 450 lm, with a beam distance of up to 100 m.

Rugged housing for demanding conditions

The Petzl ARIA 2R RGB is designed for regular use in demanding conditions. The housing has an IP67 protection rating: the headlamp is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Impact resistance complies with the IK07 (EN/IEC 62262) standard, while the construction withstands drops from heights of up to 2 meters in accordance with ANSI/PLATO FL 1. This makes it possible to use the model in field and professional conditions where equipment is regularly exposed to mechanical stress.

The removable elastic headband with symmetrical adjustment provides a comfortable fit and can be worn on the head or around the neck. The headlamp is also compatible with HELMET ADAPT and SLOT ADAPT mounts, which allow it to be installed on various types of compatible helmets. Mounts are sold separately.
