2M SPIDER/80 Quick-Release System — original 2M hardware designed for use in modern military equipment and body armor systems. It provides quick and convenient release of the equipment while maintaining secure fixation during active use.
The SPIDER/80 model is used in the construction of our WROOM GHOST plate carriers, particularly as part of the cummerbund quick-release system. It allows the plate carrier to be quickly put on and removed without the need to open and readjust the cummerbund Velcro panels each time.
The SPIDER/80 features a universal design and can be installed on either the right or left side. It is attached using two 38–40 mm webbing straps. The high-strength construction and use of Nylon 6 ensure reliable performance during intensive use in demanding field conditions.
The quick-release mechanism can be equipped with a dedicated pull tab or 550 paracord, providing convenient access to the release system, including when wearing gloves.
The standard set includes 2 × 2M SPIDER/80 quick-release systems for installation on the right and left sides of the cummerbund. If necessary, it is also possible to purchase 1 system separately to replace damaged hardware or for a custom equipment configuration.
