The OTAMAN Gen4 V1 body armor is a vest with an increased full-body protection area. The vest weighs 6.9 kg. The relatively high weight is due to the expanded area of ballistic protection of Class 1 according to DSTU standards.

The protection class of the vest in the basic V1 configuration is Class 6 according to DSTU. This level of protection will shield you from shrapnel, ricochets, and automatic rifle fire. The configuration includes an enlarged plate carrier, front, back, and side protection, as well as 4 rigid magazine pouches and ceramic Class 6 armor plates.

The vest can also be upgraded with Class 6 plates sized 27×35 cm (XL) since the base configuration comes with 25×30 cm plates.

This vest is suitable for both large men and slimmer users.

How to choose the right vest size:

Size S/M — suitable for people up to 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 50–170 cm.
Size L/XL — suitable for people over 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 60–180 cm.
