GHOST GEN5 WROOM Ballistic Neck Protection with a Class 1 ballistic insert is the result of a completely new approach to designing one of the most important elements of personal protective equipment. During development, our primary goal was to create a neck guard that combines maximum protection coverage, secure attachment to a plate carrier, and exceptional comfort even during extended use.

The key feature of this model is its ergonomic free-collar design. It allows natural head movement without restricting visibility or causing discomfort while handling a weapon, running, or performing other dynamic tasks. Thanks to its carefully engineered fit, the neck protection does not rub against the neck, while the mounting system keeps it securely attached to the plate carrier, preventing unwanted movement even during intensive use. This makes the GHOST GEN5 one of the most advanced and technologically refined products developed by WROOM.

The construction consists of front and rear sections, providing comprehensive neck protection. The front section features a 2M quick-release buckle system, allowing the neck guard to be detached within seconds without removing the entire setup.

Special attention was given to compatibility with tactical equipment. The rear section mounts under the evacuation drag handle, ensuring it does not interfere with emergency casualty evacuation. The neck protection has been specifically designed for Ghost GEN4 and Ghost GEN5 plate carriers, providing a precise fit and seamless integration with the equipment.

The outer shell is made from original Cordura® 1000D with an NIR coating, reducing visibility under night vision devices. All hardware is manufactured by 2M, ensuring outstanding strength and durability even under the harshest operating conditions.

The interior features a stretch fabric lining that minimizes friction against the neck, enhances comfort, and allows the protection to be worn for many hours without skin irritation.

Inside is a Class 1 ballistic insert certified according to DSTU 8782:2018, providing effective protection against fragments and handgun threats specified for this protection level. In particular, it is capable of stopping 7.62×25 mm TT ammunition while also offering a high level of protection against secondary fragmentation—one of the most common threats in modern combat environments.
