How lumbar protection works:

ROLL IFAK PRO+ contains an internal pocket designed for a ballistic insert (Level 1). The insert is placed in the lumbar area inside the pouch and secured so that when the pouch is worn on a plate carrier or belt, it covers the lower back. This provides an additional protective barrier for the lumbar zone, reducing risks to this sensitive area without interfering with access to medical supplies.
