Expanding the ballistic protection area in modern gear is no longer just an option, but a real necessity. With this in mind, the GHOST GEN5 fragmentation ballistic panels (size XL) were developed. They significantly increase the coverage area without a critical increase in weight and without compromising user mobility.
The panels are quick to install and just as easy to remove when conditions change. The design allows the plate carrier to be rapidly adapted to specific tasks without fully disassembling the equipment. This is a universal solution: the panels do not restrict movement, do not interfere during active use, and the overall ergonomics of the gear remain familiar and comfortable.
Installation only requires removing the standard padding elements and replacing them with ballistic panels, with the option to combine elements as needed. This approach provides flexible gear configuration according to individual requirements while maintaining a balance between protection and comfort.
Inside the panels is a soft ballistic package made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). The material effectively protects against fragments and forms an additional shock-absorbing layer, reducing the risk of secondary injuries. The panel cover is made of Cordura 1000D USA, ensuring high abrasion resistance and long service life in field conditions.
The fragmentation ballistic panels are designed exclusively for use with a plate carrier and integrate into the system as part of a single comprehensive protective solution.
The soft ballistic protection has passed testing and is supported by protocols confirming compliance with the declared protection class.
