Role of the soft protection behind the plate:


When a projectile strikes a hard ceramic plate, it does not simply stop — a powerful impact impulse is generated and transmitted to the body. This is the so-called blunt (non-penetrating) trauma. The ballistic panel behind the plate performs two key functions:


• Shock absorption — reduces the risk of bruising, rib fractures, or internal organ injury.
• Additional protection — catches fragments of the projectile or the plate itself that may spall off during impact or severe strike.


This is not just an “add-on.” This is smart armor.
